Plas Newydd watercolours

August 15, 2012

This post is to showcase the watercolours of Plas Newydd, which are part of our Llangollen Museum collection.  The watercolours were painted by Miss Parker of Sweeney Hall, near Oswestry (afterwards Lady Leighton) during the 1820s and 1830s.  They are scenes of the beautiful gardens at Plas Newydd in Llangollen.
